Project summary

This project aims at developing an augmented reality application for children with type 1 diabetes to learn the food recommended for breakfast and improve their skills in carbohydrate counting and configuration of a breakfast with specific carbohydrate content objective. ARBreakfast shows food in 3D on a real plate. Thanks to ARBreakfast, the user perceives food as if it were real food on a plate, and without using any glasses. The application runs on a mobile device with Android operating system.
