Project Summary

This project aims to develop an Augmented Reality application to help children with type 1 diabetes learn about recommended breakfast foods and improve their carbohydrate counting skills and setting breakfasts with specific carbohydrate goals. ARBreakfast displays food in 3D on a real plate. Thanks to ARBreakfast, the user perceives the food as if it were real food on a plate, without the need for glasses. The application runs on a mobile device with the Android operating system.
