Project sumary

This project integrates expertise in humanoid robotics and simulation of type 1 diabetes of the researchers at MEDERI Living Lab of the Institute ai2, resulting in Andy, a NAO robot with type 1 diabetes. The goal is the use of robotics technology as a generator of empathy in children with type 1 diabetes, who learn with a robot that suffers the same problems and faces the same decisions every day to manage his diabetes.
