El objetivo es el desarrollo de un nuevo dispositivo miniaturizado y desechable que administrar\u00e1 autom\u00e1ticamente insulina e integrar\u00e1 en el mismo un monitor continuo de glucosa  (CGM) y un algoritmo de control. El dispositivo se desechar\u00e1 cada tres d\u00edas. <\/p>\n<p>\u00abHa habido un progreso tremendo en el desarrollo de dispositivos CGM y algoritmos de lazo cerrado. Sin embargo, la integraci\u00f3n de una bomba, un CGM y un algoritmo en un \u00fanico dispositivo, que reduzca convenientemente la carga corporal para el paciente, no se ha realizado con \u00e9xito.
