Uno de los mayores desaf\u00edos en este sentido es el control de las comidas, las cuales tienen un gran impacto gluc\u00e9mico y suponen una carga para los pacientes usuarios de los sistemas de p\u00e1ncreas artificial h\u00edbrido debido al contaje de carbohidratos. Considerar los factores humanos en el dise\u00f1o de un sistema es de fundamental importancia para una adopci\u00f3n exitosa de la tecnolog\u00eda, dado que las expectaciones y las necesidades cambian de paciente a paciente. La \u00abutilidad percibida\u00bb y la \u00abfacilidad de uso percibida\u00bb por los pacientes se refleja en su intenci\u00f3n de utilizar el dispositivo. Es necesario dise\u00f1ar sistemas que admitan una interacci\u00f3n flexible con el usuario en el momento de las comidas, con una p\u00e9rdida m\u00ednima de rendimiento comparados con los sistemas h\u00edbridos actuales. Los sistemas de insulina-pramlintida se consideran potenciales actores primordiales para lograr este objetivo.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>La hip\u00f3tesis inicial de este proyecto es que las arquitecturas de control con m\u00faltiples entradas paralelas ofrecen la flexibilidad requerida para adaptarse a diferentes niveles de interacci\u00f3n de usuario en las comidas sin ocasionar p\u00e9rdidas en el control gluc\u00e9mico, lo cual puede involucrar acciones de control adicionales con limitaciones importantes debido a los efectos secundarios como es el caso de la pramlintida, de manera similar al glucag\u00f3n. El objetivo general de este proyecto es desarrollar nuevas estrategias de control postprandial para un p\u00e1ncreas artificial con interacciones flexibles del usuario durante las comidas para maximizar la utilidad y facilidad de uso percibidas por los pacientes. Se llevar\u00e1n a cabo evaluaciones cl\u00ednicas hospitalarias y estudios domiciliarios ambulatorios para analizar el rendimiento durante el periodo postprandial y la usabilidad de los desarrollos con traslaci\u00f3n cl\u00ednica m\u00e1s inmediata.
